Conditions of Participation
IX UKRAINIAN MASSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP 2024
Before registering for the championship, we recommend reviewing the rules and conditions for participants of the UMC2024 tournament.
General Conditions
(1) The terms of participation in the championship apply to all participants without exception.
(2) The Basic ticket for participation in the championship costs 2000 UAH. It includes the master’s performance in one category.
(3) The PRO ticket for participation in the championship costs 3500 UAH. It includes the master’s performance in one category plus a professional video clip up to 1 minute of the performance, which you can use on your social media.
(4) A master can participate in two categories simultaneously. Participation in each category is paid separately.
(5) Participants’ performances are scheduled in sessions. Each session includes 10 people. All participants start and finish their performances simultaneously.
(6) The performance time for each master is 30 minutes. A clock will be displayed on a large screen, which both the host and participants will follow. The break between sessions is 15 minutes. If your program is designed for an hour or more, you, as the master, need to fit it into 30 minutes.
(7) Photo and video recording are allowed.
(8) A participant can bring their own model to the championship (the model does not require additional payment) or choose a model from among the audience.
(9) The participant’s ticket provides access only for September 24. Access to workshops from September 25-29 is paid separately.
Accommodation
(1) The championship takes place within the Massage Art Fest at the Sofia Aqua Club hotel and restaurant complex. If a participant wishes to stay overnight, they can book a room through the accommodation manager. You will receive the contact information upon ticket payment.
(2) Accommodation is not included in the participant’s championship ticket price.
CRITERIA FOR PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
(1) Appearance, adherence to sanitary and hygienic standards.
(2) Master’s ergonomics, model’s ergonomics.
(3) Technique and execution of techniques according to the declared program.
(4) Organicness and coherence of the performance program.
(5) Commercial appeal of the program.
(6) Decisions regarding winners are made solely based on the collective opinion of all judges and the votes of the audience.
(7) No individual judge can make their own independent decision regarding the championship results.
PREPARING THE WORKSPACE FOR THE PERFORMANCE
(1) The championship provides a massage table for the performance, a disposable sheet, a cover, and a cosmetic table. Upon request (notify in advance during registration upon arrival): a bolster/headrest and a blanket.
(2) Decorating and preparing the workspace for the performance is the participant’s responsibility.
(3) There is a 15-minute break between sessions. This means you need to plan in advance how your workspace will look and be ready to prepare it during the session change.
(4) After completing your performance, you must immediately clean up your space so that the next participant can start their own preparation.
(5) The championship does not provide: a robe, slippers, or cosmetics.
MUSIC ACCOMPANIMENT
(1) Musical accompaniment for the championship will not be disclosed until the start of the championship itself.
(2) The music will be the same for everyone.
(3) Playing your own music on speakers or any other devices is prohibited.
(4) You may use musical instruments only if they do not interfere with the general musical accompaniment.
Aromatic Elements in the Performance Program
(1) Please refrain from using aromatic sticks and candles, as we cannot anticipate individual sensitivities to certain components among participants.
